Did you have an assistant or a team?
I did not have an assistant. Every aspect of Emotion Encoded, from reaching out to professionals and analyzing public data to writing the briefs and maintaining the website, was executed solo. This initiative is a personal commitment to independent transparency in AI.

What was the inspiration?
After four years of my bachelor's degree without using AI for a single task, I used it to draft a letter for a bad car deal. When I realized the model had hallucinated legal cases and I had initially believed it, my mind went to the critical stakes: if it is this easy to mislead an individual, how easy is it to trick professionals in medicine, law, and high-stakes infrastructure?

How was this research conducted so speedily?
I worked on this project every single day. Without the distractions of a traditional 9-to-5 job, I have been able to dedicate my full time and energy to conducting this research and publishing findings at an accelerated pace.

Who manages the platform?
I built this website on GitHub myself and I continue to work on it every day. Up to date, i have about 1,877 commits, which is crazy. Because I manage the code and the content simultaneously, if you spot any technical errors, please understand I am only human and constantly iterating.

How tech-savy are you?
I definitely have a lot to learn when it comes to machine learning, computer science, and those sorts of technological subjects, but I'm trying every day. Even with math, I try my best to master that so I can master those other subjects. I plan to take classes in these subjects as well so I can be well-rounded. Right now, I'm just a beginner, but I plan to touch on most topics eventually, too!

What is next for you?
I am preparing to apply to graduate schools to pursue my PhD in Psychology: focusing on Artificial Intelligence in High-Stakes Fields. I am incredibly hopeful about the future and the potential for this research to influence safe AI integration.
